Become Within Reach!

Within Reach believes that in order to have a higher quality of life those in need must have access to solutions and preventive measures to the issues they face. Within Reach is creating a community of professionals, organizations, and government programs that can provide the means to a higher quality of life. Any entity that has a goal of creating a higher quality of life for humans on a not-for-profit or philanthropic basis is welcome to Within Reach.

We Already Have Your Profile:

Within Reach knows that it can be time consuming to fill out a profile online, which is why we have invested our time in doing the work for you. Instead of spending money on advertising to make the general public aware of your services Within Reach has already begun the process as part of our charitable service. However, that is only the first step. We would like you – the nonprofit – to take control of your profile and engage with those in our community.

Existing Organizations - If you would like to take control of your profile: please send a copy of your 501c3 acceptance letter to Within Reach to confirm your participation with the organization. We will issue you a password upon verification.

New Organizations - If you find that your organization is not listed and that you would like to sign up: Go to our Registation page. Then send a copy of your 501c3 acceptance letter to Within Reach to confirm your participation with the organization.

Getting Removed - If you would like to have your organization removed from Within Reach: please send a copy of your 501c3 acceptance letter to Within Reach as verification of your participation with the organization and state that you would like your organization removed.


Developing a Presence:

Marketing is the traditional way organizations develop their presence, and it is an essential component for connecting consumers to products. Within Reach believes that in order to have a higher quality of life those in need must have access to those solutions that provide that quality of life; thus marketing is a key component of linking those in need to the services that raise their quality of life. Currently, there are big changes taking place in the way media is being transmitted to consumers through the use of the internet. The Internet has become a central meeting place for service providers and consumers in many fields around the globe and it’s time for those providing social services to be a part of that change.

The take away: The social services need to keep up with the changing media landscape for the benefit of the clients. If the clients are using social media and other user driven media to interact socially as well as commercially and the social services are still using old media tools, then there is a rift building between the users wanting to access services and social services wanting to distribute aid.

A primary goal for Within Reach is to use the best practices in marketing innovations to bridge the rift between service users and service providers.

What is Digital Marketing?

Digital Marketing is about developing a presence within the Internet. It’s about creating layers of information through webpages, blogs, videos, social media, etc. The layers of information eventually create an image of your organization throughout the Internet that defines your presence. It is your presence that determines how well you market your services to the individuals on the Internet and the public’s exposure to those services.

The question is: Does your organization have enough presence to benefit its clients?

Encouraging Collaboration:

After registering with Within Reach, organizations are encouraged to identify which coalitions they are currently connected through the “join group” link on their profile. We encourage them to reach out to other coalitions that of interest through the same group search tool. This has four benefits:

  1. (1) The nonprofits are exposed to coalitions they were not aware existed
  2. (2) Coalitions gain the increased status they deserve while increasing their capacity
  3. (3) The connection with coalitions gives legitimacy to the organization
  4. (4) Befriending other nonprofits also creates a way for services users to see other relevant services in their area
